R E S 0 L U T 'I O N
WHEREAS, on March 12, 1971, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $5.00, including costs of recording, covering
Lot 19, Block 6, Bel Air Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1381, Page 251;and,
WHEREAS, W. F. Bryan is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the 'monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on January 14, 1971, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $85.00,- including costs of recording, covering
Lot 15, Block 2; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, Block 4; Lots 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Block 2, Pineywoods Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1375, Page 407; and,
WHEREAS, First Mortgage Advisory Corporation is the owner of
said above property and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the
monies represented by said weed lien and have same released to it;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
and deliver to the said W. F. Bryan and First Mortgage Advisory Cor-
poration a release of the above-described weed liens -for and in consi-
deration of the sums aforementioned, receipt of which are hereby ac-
knowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same
and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto. -
