R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of an annual
contract for PVC or ABS drain pipe in six inch (6") and eight inch
(8") sizes for stock inventory for the Water Department for the
period of December 9, 1975 through December 8, 1976; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply Company submitted a bid for furnish-
ing such PVC or ABS drain pipe in 6" and 8" sizes for stock inventory
for the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Coburn Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted, and that a contract with Coburn Supply Company for fur-
nishing PVC or ABS drain pipe in 6" and 8" sizes for an annual period
of time should be executed, and that the said drain pipe be purchased
from Coburn Supply Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Coburn Supply Company be accepted by the Cityiof Beau-
mont and
eau-mont.and the City Manager be, and he is hereby,'authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of Beaumont, a contract with Coburn Supply Com-
pany for the furnishing -of drain pipe for municipal purposes for the
period of December 9, 1975 through December 8, 1976, at the unit prices
as specified in their bid; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
attest to said contract and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto.
