R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 31, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did.
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $19.19, including costs of recording, covering
North 1/2 of Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 2F, Cartwright Addition to the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are re-
corded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1483, Page 355;
and,
WHEREAS, James,A. Linney, Jr. is the owner of said above pro-
perty and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represen-
ted by said weed lien and have same released to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver to.the said James A. Linney, Jr. a release of the above-
described weed lien for and in consideration of the sum aforementioned,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of
Beaumont thereto.
