WHEREAS, an informal bid was received for the furnishing
of a CC -469 main drive gear for repair to a 1.968 Model LS6.8 link
belt dragline for the Fleet Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Bado Equipment Company submitted this informal
bid in the amount of approximately One Thousand Twenty -Two and
33/100 ($1,022.33) Dollars for the CC -469 main drive gear for re-
pair to a 1968 Model LS68 link belt dragline for the Fleet Mainte-
nance Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the:bid
submitted by Bado Equipment Company is the only bid received and
should be accepted;
NOW,.THEREFORE,-BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Bado Equipment Company in the amount of $1,022.33
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City offi-
cial is hereby authorized to make payment for said CC -469 main drive
gear for repair to a 1968 Model LS68 link belt dragline for the
Fleet Maintenance Department, upon acceptable delivery and/or instal-
lation.
