R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of fire
hose for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Bayou Gasket & Hose Company submitted a bid in
the approximate amount of Six Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty -Eight.
and No/100 ($6,988.00) Dollars for the fire hose for the Fire
Department; and,
; WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Bayou Gasket & Hose Company is the best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Bayou Gasket & Hose Company in the amount of
$6,988.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said fire
hose upon acceptable delivery.
