R E S'0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
twenty (20) lawnmowers for the Parks & Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Gibson Discount Center of Beaumont submitted a
bid in the amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Seventy -Nine and
80/100 ($1,679.80) Dollars for the twenty lawnmowers for the Parks
& Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the infor-
mal bid submitted by Gibson Discount Center of Beaumont is the best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the informal bid of Gibson Discount Center of Beaumont in the
amount of $1,679.80 be accepted by 'the City of Beaumont, and the
appropriate City official is hereby authorized to make payment for
said twenty lawnmowers upon acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
