WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing
of one (1) six inch (6") water meter for the Water Distribution
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Badger Meter Company submitted this informal
bid in the amount of One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No/100
($1,250.00) Dollars for the water meter for the Water Distribution
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Badger Meter Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Badger Meter Company in the amount of $1,250.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said water meter upon ac-
ceptable delivery.
