R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Attorney, or his designated Assistant City
Attorney, be, and is hereby, authorized to settle the following
condemnation law suits:
(1) The City of Beaumont, Plaintiff, vs. Carlo
J. Malley, et al, Defendants, in the County Court of Jefferson
County, At Law, Jefferson County, Texas, Cause No. 30,907,
for the total amount of NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND N0/100
($9,500.00) DOLLARS;

(2) The City of Beaumont, Plaintiff, vs. William'G.
Childs, et ux, Defendants, in the County Court of Jefferson
County, At Law, Jefferson County, Texas, Cause No. 31,795, for
the total amount of NINETEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE
AND N0/100 ($19,675.00) DOLLARS; and,
(3) The City of Beaumont,.Plaintiff vs. William G.
Childs, et ux, Defendants, in the County Court of Jefferson
County, At Law, No. 2, Jefferson County, Texas, Cause No. 31,806,
in the total amount of FOURTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND
N0/100 ($14,800.00) DOLLARS;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney, or his
designated Assistant, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute
all such instruments as may be necessary to effectuate the
settlements described above.
