R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
contract between the'City of Beaumont and the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation for the installation of a grade
crossing protection device at the intersection of Railroad Avenue
and Franklin Street; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of this installation
will be borne by the State of Texas and the railroad company; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of the power for the
railroad preemption de.vi-ce will be borne by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
