RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a postage
machine for the Building Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Singer Mailing Equipment submitted -a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety -Five and No/100 ($1,695.00)
for the postage machine for the Building Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the,opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Singer Mailing Equipment is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, -THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Singer Mailing Equipment in the amount of $1,,695.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make.payment for said postage machine upon ac-
ceptable delivery and/or installation.
