WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Miner -Dederick Construction
Corporation executed a certain contract on the 5 day of December, 1972,
for the construction of the Police & Municipal Court Building, CIP Pro-
ject No.
ro-jectNo. 11-B-01, at a total revised contract price of $2,836,077.69;
and,
WHEREAS, $20,458.48 remains unpaid on said contract based on
actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and has
recommended its acceptance and final payment in the amount of $20,458.48
to be .made to the contractor based on actual work performed;:,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont accepts the completion of the aforesaid con-
tract in all particulars and does further authorize the final payment
of $20,458.48 to the said contractor.
