WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
repair work on City Car No. 1065, a 1975 Matador used by the Police
Department, which said car was wrecked on October 17, 1975; and,
WHEREAS, Bullington Oldsmobile, Inc. submitted an informal
bid in the estimated amount of One Thousand One Hundred Sixty -Five
and 56/100 ($1,165.56) Dollars for the repair work on City Car No.
1065; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the informal
bid submitted by Bullington Oldsmobile,, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the informal bid of Bullington Oldsmobile, Inc. in the estimated
amount of $1,165.56 be accepted by the -City of Beaumont, and the appro-
priate City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said re-
pair work upon acceptable completion.
