R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for building construction con-
tracts on the Athletic Complex; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
KORRECT STEEL:
Base Bid "A" - Covered Play Area - - - - $ 36,700.00
DANIELS CONSTRUCTION: Base Bid "B" - Sports'Service Center -
$ 82,400.00
DANIELS CONSTRUCTION: Combined Base Bids "C-1", "C-2", & "C-3" - -
Concession & Scoring Buildings - - - - $133,200.00
PORT CITY CONSTRUCTION: Base Bid "D" - Tennis, Paddle Tennis &
. Fencing - - - - - - - - - - $134,829.00
ALLIED SUPPLY: Base Bid "E" - Fencing for Softball Complex - -
$ 93,492.53
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids -sub-
mitted by the above-mentioned companies are the lowest and best bids
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of the above-mentioned companies in the above -listed
amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract with each of the above com-
panies for said building construction on the Athletic.Complex, and
that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contracts
and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these contracts are to be paid.out
of Revenue Sharing Fund No. 21 and Athletic Complex Fund No. 40.
