BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he,is hereby, authorized to
accept a grant from the Governor's Office -of Traffic Safety pro-
viding for funding for a regional traffic safety public information
program and tre City Manager is authorized to execute a contract
with Lamar TJn_sersity for a maximum of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred
Anc' ,1,a/100 ($7,500.00) Dollars, which amount will be 100% funded by
the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety,for the preparation of a
public informat_i,, program for .this region.
