WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a vacuum
street sweeper for the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dallas Brush Manufacturing Company submitted a bid
in the amount of Thirty -Five Thousand Seven Hundred Forty -Two and
No/100.($35,742.00) Dollars for the vacuum street sweeper for the
Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Dallas Brush Manufacturing Company is the best bid'and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dallas Brush Manufacturing Company in the amount of
$35,742.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said vacuum
street sweeper upon acceptable delivery.
