WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of brass --ells
and nipples for stock inventory for the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mabry Foundry & Supply Company submitted a bid in the
amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Sixty -Six and 50/100 ($1,566.50)
Dollars for the brass ells and nipples for stock inventory for the
Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Mabry Foundry & Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mabry Foundry & Supply Company in the amount of $1,566.50
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said brass ells and nipples for
stock inventory upon acceptable delivery.
