R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission in
conjunction with the Texas Criminal Justice Council and acting under
the authority of Title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets
Act of 1968 as amended and the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act has
prepared a grant application for the maintenance of a Ray Tube Speed
Landline Communications'System;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby endorses said grant application and
authorizes the expenditure of $291.24 from the general fund of the City
of Beaumont to be used as the City's share of this project for a one
(1) year period, beginning November 1, 1975, and continuing until Octo-
ber 31, 1976; which shall also cover the $14.40 paid to Incoterm, Inc.
by the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission during the period
from November 1, 1974 to October 31, 1975.
