BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the relocation and abandoning of water lines within the IH 10 and
Pine Street project as developed by Schaumburg & Polk, Inc., Consult-
ing Engineers, to provide a thirty inch (30") water line from the main
pumping plant and Miller Streets, is hereby approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate City official be
authorized to advertise for bids for this project upon receipt of final
approval by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized to
sign the necessary documents to enter into agreement with the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation for using highway
right-of-way for water line relocation and reimbursement.
