WHEREAS, the Board of Equalization under date of September 4,
1975, certified the assessment roll of property of the City of Beau-
mont for the year 1975 by stating that the statements contained in
the certificate of the Assessor and Collector of the City of Beaumont
are true and correct; and,
WHEREAS, the certificate of Leon L. Burnett,. Assessor and Col-
lector of the City of Beaumont, certified the assessment roll'of pro-
perty for the year 1975 to be as follows:

WHEREAS, the assessment roll with the approval of the Board of
Equalization has been returned,to the'City Council and the Council is
of the opinion that same is correct and should be,approved and adopted
as the assessment roll to be used for the collection of taxes for the
current year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the assessment roll of property for the year 1975, showing total
taxable property of $508,863,390 based upon 600 of market value'as cer-
tified by Leon L. Burnett, Assessor and Collector, and as certified by
the Board of Equalization, is hereby approved and the same is adopted.
as the assessment roll of the City of Beaumont to be used for the col-
lection of taxes for the current year'of 1975; and,

is hereby authorized to sign the certificate of the Tax Assessor and
Collector and the Board of Equalization as approved by this Council as
of September 23, 1975.
