R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1974, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering
Lot 32 and East 25 feet of Lot 33, Block 5, Virginia Estates Addition
to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are
recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1530, Page 278;
and,
WHEREAS, H. H. Roy is the owner of said above property and de-
sires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in -the amount of $18.62, including costs of recording, covering

Lot .312 and East 30 feet of Lot 33, Block 5, Virginia Estates Addition
to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are
recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1500, Page 280;
and,
WHEREAS, H. H. Roy is the owner of said above property and de-
sires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on August 4, 1975, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering
Block 25, Tr. 2, 4-76/100 ac., Iowa Colony Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in
the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1580, Page 143; and,
WHEREAS, as the above-described weed lien was filed in error,
Cardinal Apts., Inc. %.Geo. Miner is the owner of said above property
and wishes to be released from said weed lien;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE

THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver to the said H. H. Roy a'release of the above-described weed
liens for and in consideration of the sums aforementioned, and a re-
lease to Cardinal Apts., Inc. % Geo. Miner, as the above-described weed
lien was filed in error, receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized to.attest to same and to affix the
Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
