R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the developers of Dowlen
West Addition, Unix XI entered into a contract for the participation -
paving of Shakespeare Drive at a total contract price of $116,039.50;
and,
WHEREAS, the developers have placed in escrow with the City
of Beaumont a total of $73,113.80 for payment of their share of this
participation -paving project; and,
WHEREAS, the City.Engineer has inspected the work and along
with the Consulting Engineers, Schaumburg & Polk, Inc., recommends
its acceptance and final payment of $42,925.70, and the City's share
in the installation of oversize water line in Shakespeare Drive in
the amount of $11,521.44 to Don Streety Enterprises, and $4,292.57 to
Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. for the City's portion of the consulting engi-
neering services on this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the'afore-
said street participation construction contract in all particulars
and authorizes the final payment of $42,925.70 and $11,521.44 to Don
Streety Enterprises, and the further payment of $4,292.57 to Schaum-
burg & Polk, Inc. for the City's portion of the consulting engineering
services on this project.
