WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a contract
for batteries for all City vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Battery Sales submitted a bid in the
unit costs as itemized in the contract between the City of Beaumont
and Golden Triangle Battery Sales; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of'the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Golden Triangle Battery Sales is the best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Golden Triangle Battery Sales in the amounts as item-
ized in the contract between the City of Beaumont and Golden Triangle
Battery Sales, be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf of the
City of Beaumont, a contract.with Golden Triangle Battery Sales for
an annual contract for batteries; and the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby, authorized to attest to said contract and to affix the Seal
of the City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
