WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of.Beaumont has examined
the final plans and specifications for transit facilities and major
equipment for the Beaumont Transit System; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost for this phase of the Capital Im.-
provements Program Project is in the sum of of $944,590.00, of which
amount federal funds will cover 80% of the cost and the remaining
200 of the cost will be local monies; and,
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications have been approved and
the project should be advertised for bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the final plans and specifications for transit facilities and
major equipment for the Beaumont Transit System have been examined by
the City Council and are in all respects finally approved and adopted;
and,
BE IT FURTHER'RESOLVED that the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to advertise for bids for transit .facilities and major
equipment for the Beaumont Transit System.
