WHEREAS, on May 18, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $11.97, including costs of recording, covering
Lot 19, Block 31, Gulf Terrace Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jef-
ferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1481, Page 363; and,
WHEREAS, G. D. Clark is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City .of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on November 4, 1974, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of'$55.00, including costs of recording, covering
Lot 3, Block 24, Gulf Terrace Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jeffer-
son County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records
of said County in Volume 1546, Page 486; and,
WHEREAS, R. E-. Lee is the owner of.said above property and de-
sires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to, him; and,
11HEREAS, on February 2, 1975, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $55.00., including costs of recording, covering
Lot 7, Block 5, Bel Air Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1555, Page 204; and,
WHEREAS, Lamar C. Bevil, Jr. is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on November 4, 1974, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed lien
I n the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering Plat

Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of said
County in Volume 1546, Page 488; and,
WHEREAS, John T. Hull is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1975, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering
Plat D-12, Tract 109A, A. Williams Survey, City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1555, Page 208; and,
WHEREAS, Charles R. Wallace is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by
said weed lien and have same released to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver to the said G. D. Clark, R. E. Lee, Lamar C. Bevil, Jr., John
T. Hull, and Charles R. Wallace releases of the above-described weed
liens for and in consideration of the sums aforementioned,, --receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
