BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE `
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Notice of Sale, Bid Form and Official Statement relating to
the proposed issuance of Twenty Million and No/100 ($20,000,000.00)
Dollars of City of Beaumont General Obligation Bonds, Series 1975, a
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all pur-
poses, be and the same is hereby, approved, and the information con-
tained therein is certified as accurately reflecting the financial con-
dition of the City of Beaumont and the statistical data contained there-
in is certified as accurate in so far as can be determined by the City
Council; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is here-
by, authorized to execute .a letter to Underwood Neuhaus & Company, Inc.,
certifying that the City Council has approved Notice of Sale, Bid Form
and Official Statement; and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the date and time of the sale of
said $20,000,000.00 General Obligation Bonds, Series 1975, of the City
of Beaumont is hereby set for 11:00 A. M., Central Daylight Time, Tues-
day, October 7, 1975, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Beau-
mont, Texas.
