WHEREAS, the City Council received bids for furnishing the
necessary material, equipment, superintendence and labor for the con-
struction of Delaware Street Revenue Sharing Project No. RS -T-12; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted on the project by Trotti & Thomson in the amount of One Million
Three Hundred Seventy -One Thousand Seven Hundred Four and No/100
($1,371,704.00) Dollars with two hundred forty (240) working days to
complete, is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid for the construction of Delaware Street Revenue Sharing
Project No. RS -T-12 in the amount of $1,371,704.00 with 240 working
days to complete is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to enter into a contract with Trotti & Thomson in accordance
with its bid, the cost of said construction to be paid from Revenue
Sharing Funds; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest.to
same and to affix the Seal of the City.of Beaumont thereto.
