R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the furnishing of one
(1) small patch roller for use by the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Hiway Equipment Company, Houston, Texas, submitted
this bid in the amount of Six Thousand One Hundred Ninety -Eight and
No/100 ($6,198.00) Dollars for the patch roller for use by the Street
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Hiway Equipment Company is the only bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Hiway Equipment Company in the amount of $6,198.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized to make payment out of Street Account No. 42-503 for
said patch roller upon acceptable delivery.
