R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the acquisition of Parcel Number 9 of C.I.P.
Project 11 -ST -122, Sarah Street, is essential to the Sarah
Street Project; and,
WHEREAS, the appraised value of the part needed for
right-of-way purposes in Parcel Number 9 is $11,150.00, and
would leave the property and improvements severed by this
partial taking; and,
WHEREAS, the market value of the entire property of
Parcel Number 9 is $11,650.00, making a difference of $500.00
between a partial taking and a complete taking;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Community Development Department be, and it is hereby,
directed to acquire Parcel Number 9 of C.I.P. Project 11 -ST -122,
Sarah Street, for the market value price of $11,650.00, as an
alternative to that required for right-of-way purposes only.
