WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of dictation
equipment for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Lanier Business Products submitted a bid in the amount
of Fourteen Thousand Fifty -Two and 30/100 ($14,052.30) Dollars for the
dictation equipment for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Lanier Business Products is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Lanier Business Products in the amount of $14,052.30 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized to make payment out of Criminal Justice Council Grant
No. AC -75-B05-3028 fund for said dictation equipment upon acceptable
delivery and/or installation.
