RES-OLUT I ON
WHEREAS, on May 18, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien
in the amount of $17.19, including costs of recording, covering Lot
92, 2-,1/100 ac., College Acres Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1481, Page 455; and,
WHEREAS, Phillip Horwitz is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by
said lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on February 2, 1975, the City of Beaumont, Texas,
did file with the County Clerk.of Jefferson County, Texas, certain
lien in the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering
Lot 20, Block 62 Bel Air Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1555, Page 202; and,
WHEREAS, Ray McDill is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
lien and have same released to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor,.be and he is hereby, authorized to execute
and deliver to the said Phillip Horwitz and Ray McDill a release of
the above described liens for and in consideration of the sums afore-
mentioned, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the
City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 19 75 .
