WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of traffic
signal equipment, (ten traffic controllers), for the Traffic and
Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Eagle Signal Company submitted a bid in the amount
of Twenty -Three Thousand Six Hundred Ninety -One and 60/100 ($23,691.60)
Dollars for the traffic signal equipment for the Traffic and Transpor-
tation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is.of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Eagle Signal Company is the lowest bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Eagle Signal Company in the amount of $23,691.60 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said traffic signal equipment
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
