R E S '0 L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Holloway Sand & Gravel
Company, Inc. executed a certain contract on the 10 day of January,
1974, being Contract III, -E of CIP Project No. 12 -SS -045, and being
a part of Environmental Protection Agency Sanitary Sewer Project No.
WPC-TEX-975, at an original contract price of -$287,591.04; and,
WHEREAS, the amount of $27,520.77 remains unpaid on said
contract price based on actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and has
recommended its acceptance and final payment in the amount of
$27,520.77 to be made to the contractor based on actual work per-
formed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the afore-
said contract in all particulars and does further authorize the final
payment of $27,520.77 to the said contractor.
