R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Acting City Manager, Howard McDaniel, be and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a lease contract between the City of Beaumont
and San Jacinto Savings & Loan Association of Beaumont for a period
of five (5) years beginning January 1, 1975, and.end.ing December 31,
1980, at a yearly rental amount of Three Hundred Thirty -Six and No/100
($336.00) Dollars for the following described property:
and,
Being a tract of land out of the Jarrett
Addition of the City of Beaumont, County
of Jefferson, State of Texas:
Beginning at the southwestern corner of
the intersection of the southbound surface
road of Interstate 10 North, and Calder
Avenue for a point of beginning;
THENCE Westerly along the south line of
Calder Avenue a distance of 74 feet to the
northeastern corner of Lot 1 of Block 23 of
the Jarrett Addition;
THENCE following the eastern boundary line
of said Lot 1 of Block 23 of the Jarrett
Addition south a distance of 15 feet;
THENCE in an easterly direction parallel
to the south line of Calder Avenue a distance
of 74 feet to the west line of the southbound
surface road of Interstate 10 North;
THENCE North along the west line of the south-
bound surface road of Interstate 10 North,
north a distance of 15 feet to the point of
beginning;
Being a tract of land rectangular in shape
15 feet by 74 feet;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be authorized to
attest to said lease contract and to affix the Seal of the City of
Beaumont thereto.
