WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Work and Daniels Construction
Company executed a certain contract on the 19 day of December, 1972, for
the construction of the Beaumont Public Library, being CIP Project No.
11-B-02; and,
WHEREAS, Ten Thousand and No/100 ($10,000.00) Dollars remains un-
paid on said contract based on actual work performed; and,

WHEREAS, the City Engineer .and the architects on this project
have inspected the work and have .recommended its acceptance and final
payment in the amount of $10,000.00 to be made to the contractor based
on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the aforesaid
contract in all particulars and does further authorize the final payment
of $10,000.00 to the said contractor.
