WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of tee
shirts for the Summer Youth Athletic Program for the Police Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Mark's submitted an informal bid in the amount of One
Thousand One Hundred Ninety and 10/100 ($1,190.10) Dollars for the tee
shirts for the Summer Youth Athletic Program for the Police Department;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Mark's is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mark's in the amount of $1,190.10 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby authorized to
make payment out of Criminal Justice Grant Fund No. 4-A2-2397 for said
tee shirts upon acceptable delivery.
