WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Holloway Sand and Gravel Com-
pany entered into a certain agreement by which Holloway Sand and Gravel
Company agreed to furnish all labor superintendence, material and equip-
ment to perform all work necessary to the construction of Capital Improve-
ment Program Project No. 12 -SS -047., Contract III -G, the West End Intercep-
tor Sewer Project from Gladys Avenue to Tolivar Road; and,
WHEREAS, a supplementary agreement, being Change Order No. 2, tc
said agreement has been proposed providing for the re-routing of the 54"
sanitary sewer along Major Drive around two residences in lieu of jacking
under the properties as previously planned; and,
WHEREAS, this change will not affect the performance of the comple-
ted line and will reduce the contract amount by $7,703.93 to the amount of
$19314,771.51;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Acting City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described Change Order No. 2
to the original contract, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to at-
test to same and to affix the. Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
