WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of a contract for
batteries for the Fleet Maintenance Department to be used for various
City vehicles; 'and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Battery Sales submitted a 90 -day bid in
the amount of Ten. Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy -Seven and 62/100
($10,877.62) Dollars for the batteries for the Fleet Maintenance Depart-
ment to be used for various City vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the 90 -day bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Battery Sales is the lowest and best bid and
should be_accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Golden Triangle Battery Sales in the amount of $10,877.62
be accepted by the City of Beaumont; and that the Acting City Manager be
authorized to execute.a 90 -day contract with Golden Triangle Battery Sales
for the batteries, and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to said 90 -day contract and to affix the Seal of the City of.Beaumont
thereto.
