R E S 0 L U T 'I O N
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of September, 1967 and on the
4th day of.February, 1971, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain
weed liens in -the amounts of $8.00 and $5.00 respectively,
including all costs of recording, covering Lot Number TWO (2)
in Block Number SEVENTEEN (17.) of the BEL -AIR ADDITION to the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens
are recorded in Volume 1253 at Page 28 and Volume 1381 at
Page 249, respectively, in the M & L Records of said County;
and,
WHEREAS, ETHEL DAVIDSON HENSLEY is the owner of said
property and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies
represented by said liens.and have same released to her;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That Ken Ritter, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to
execute and deliver to the said ETHEL DAVIDSON HENSLEY a
release of the above described weed liens, for and in con-
sideration of the sums aforementioned, receipts of which are
hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to same and to -affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto.
