WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of landscape
planting materials for the Water Utilities Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted for landscape plant-
ing materials for the Water Utilities Service Center:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids sub-
mitted by Bradshaw's Nurseries, Inc. and 11th Street Garden Center are
the lowest and best bids in their respective groups and should be accep-
ted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Bradshaw's Nurseries, Inc. and 11th Street Garden -Cen-
ter in the above-mentioned amounts be accepted by the City,of Beaumont,
and the appropriate City official is hereby authorized to make payment
for said landscape planting materials upon acceptable delivery.
