WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. executed
a certain contract on the 5 day of January, 1973,,for the construction
of Phelan Boulevard Phase I, CIP.Project No. 11 -ST -01, at a total con-
tract price of $665,223.90; and,
WHEREAS, $91,461.81 remains unpaid on said contract based on
actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and has recom-
mended its acceptance and final.payment in the amount of $91,461.81 to
be made to the contractor based on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the afore-
mentioned contract in all particulars and does further authorize the
final payment of $91,461.81 to the said contractor.
