BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager, Kenneth R. Devero', be and he is hereby, autho-
rized to make application to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development for a $50,000 grant to provide funds for Comprehensive
Planning Assistance to continue ongoing community relations programs,
comprehensive planning programs, and to add an additional position for
the purpose of developing a neighborhood preservation program.
