WHEREAS,' bids were received. for the furnishing of an annual
contract for cast iron pipe for warehouse stock for the Water Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, Utility Supply Company submitted a bid for an annual
contract for cast
iron pipe

WHEREAS, the City Council is, of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Utility Supply Company is the lowest and best and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Utility Supply Company in the above-mentioned amounts
be accepted by the City of.Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said cast iron pipe upon accep-
table delivery.
