WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
swimming pool paint for the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Russco Paint Manufacturing Company submitted a bid
in the amount of One Thousand Seventy -Two and 76/100 ($1,072.76) Dol-
lars for the swimming pool paint for the Parks and Recreation Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Russco Paint Manufacturing Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Russco Paint Manufacturing Company in the amount of
$1,072.76 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said swimming
pool paint upon acceptable delivery.
