R E S 0 L U T I O' N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of remote pump
station operation equipment for the Water Production Department; and,
WHEREAS, Autocon) Division of Control Data, Inc. submitted a
bid in the amount of Nine Thousand Two Hundred Eighty -Four and No/100
($93,284.00) Dollars for the remote pump station operation equipment
for the Water Production Department; and.,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Autocon, Division of Control Data, Inc. is the lowest and
best bid 'and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Autocon, Division of Control Data., Inc. in the amount
of $9,284.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said remote pump
station operation equipment upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
