WHEREAS, Phelan Boulevard Phase I (CIP Project No. 11 -ST -01),
College Street (CIP Project No. 11 -ST -02), Washington Boulevard (CIP
Project No. 11 -ST -03), and Florida Street (CIP Project No. 11 -ST -08),
were Capital Improvements Program Projects awarded to be paid out of
Capital Improvements Program Funds; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to transfer a portion of the
obligation under each of these four contracts to the Revenue Sharing
Street Account; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to transfer certain Revenue
Sharing Street Account Funds to the Capital Improvements Program Street
Account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to transfer
$72,171.91 from CIP Project No. 11 -ST -01, Phelan Boulevard Phase I;
$38,955.20 from CIP Project No. 11 -ST -02, the College Street Project;
$173,793.60 from CIP Project No. 11 -ST -03, the Washington Boulevard Pro-
ject; and $136,232.00 from CIP Project No. 11 -ST -08, the Florida Street
Project to the Revenue Sharing Street Account; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that appropriate City officials are here-
by authorized to transfer $243,583.05 out of the Revenue Sharing Street
Account Fund to the Capital Improvements Program Street Account to be
used to provide lighting on Phelan Boulevard Phase I and current needs
for right-of-way and engineering in Capital Improvements Program'Street
Projects.
