WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the furnishing of one
(1) mobile display -demonstrator trailer for the Crime Prevention Unit
of the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Wells -Cargo, Inc. submitted this bid in the amount of
Three Thousand One Hundred Seventy -Five and No/100 ($31,175,00) Dollars
for the mobile display -demonstrator trailer for the Crime Prevention
Unit of the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Wells -Cargo, Inc. is the only bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Wells -Cargo, Inc, in the amount of $3,175.00 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City Official is hereby
authorized to..make payment from Criminal Justice Council Grant No. 75-
A1-2728 Crime Prevention Grant, upon acceptable delivery.
