WHEREAS, on the 31st day of May, 1973, the City of Beaumont,
Texas, did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, one
certain lien in the amount of $19.05, including all costs of recording,
covering Lot No. Nine (9) in Block Nine (9) of Thomas Road Addition to
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, according to the map or
plat of said Addition of record in Volume 10, Page 130 of the Map
Records of Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, Paul B. Shaw and wife, Joy Shaw, are the owners 'of
said property and desire to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies
represented by said lien and have same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT- RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
and deliver to the said Paul B. Shaw and wife, Joy Shaw, a release of
the above described lien, for and in consideration of the sum aforemen-
tioned, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City
of Beaumont thereto.
