R E S O L U T I 'O N
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the furnishing of one
(1) pumper test pit for the Fire Department training grounds; and,
WHEREAS, Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation submitted this bid
in the amount of Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Eighty -Four and No/100
($14,184.00) Dollars f_or.-the one pumper test pit for the training grounds
for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Owens-Corning Fiberglass. Corporation is the only bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation in the amount of
$14,184.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City
Official is hereby authorized to make payment for said pumper test pit
out of the Capital Improvements Program Bond Fund, Project No. 11-B-03,
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
