R E S 0 L U T I O N`
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the furnishing of record-
ing tape for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dictaphone Corporation submitted this bid in the amount
of One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty -Eight and 25/100 ($1,838.25) Dollars,
plus freight, for forty-three (43) recording tapes for the Police Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Dictaphone Corporation is the only bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dictaphone Corporation in the amount of $1,838.25, plus
freight, be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City
Official is hereby authorized to make payment out of the Texas Criminal
Justice Department Grant No. 3-04-2178 fund, upon acceptable delivery
and/or installation.
