WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of eight (8)
electric valve operators for the Water Reclamation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mabry Foundry and Supply Company submitted a bid in
the amount of Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy -Two and No/100
($133,872.00) Dollars for the eight electric valve operators for the
Water Reclamation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid of
Mabry Foundry and Supply Company is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mabry Foundry and Supply Company in the amount of
$13,872.00 be accepted by the City'of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City Official is hereby authorized to make payment out of the Revenue
Sharing Instrumentation Program for said eight electric valve operators
upon acceptable delivery and/or installation.
